REFLECTIONS

A few questions. A little space to think.

You can use these short reflection guides on your own or bring your thoughts into a coaching conversation. There’s no expectation to have all the answers.

01 / PRIORITIES

What matters to me in this season?

A starting point when competing responsibilities make it hard to hear your own priorities.

QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH

  1. What is taking most of my attention right now?
  2. Which responsibilities feel connected to my own values, and which feel driven by other people’s expectations?
  3. What would I like to have more room for?
  4. What is one manageable step I could choose this week?

Try writing a few words for each question. Notice what feels relevant, and leave the rest.

02 / COMMUNICATION

Before the conversation.

A moment to reflect before talking about a need, a boundary, or a shared expectation.

QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH

  1. What would I like the other person to understand?
  2. What am I hoping to understand about their experience?
  3. Which parts of this situation am I assuming rather than asking about?
  4. What would help me communicate in a way that reflects my intentions?

You can use your notes to clarify your own thinking without scripting every part of the conversation.

03 / EVERYDAY LIFE

Looking at a routine with fresh eyes.

A way to explore a daily rhythm that no longer seems to fit your household or responsibilities.

QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH

  1. What is already working in this routine?
  2. Where does it begin to feel difficult, and whose needs are involved?
  3. What has changed since this routine first made sense?
  4. What small adjustment would I be willing to try and revisit?

You can start by observing. A useful next step may be gathering more information before changing anything.
